Inverdoorn Big 5 Private Game Reserve is conveniently located just under a 2.5-hour drive from Cape Town in the pristine and malaria-free Ceres Karoo region of South Africa. The Tankwa Chalets can accommodate up to two people per room and options are available for couples or singles sharing.
All Chalets have private verandas which overlook the succulent cactus garden. The rooms have a romantic charm with wood-burning fireplaces, as well as air-conditioning and bathrobes are supplied.
Minibar fridges are placed in all chalets. They are stocked and a price list is available in each room, while the self-service complimentary refreshment station includes an espresso coffee making machine and amenities.
The Game Reserve is also the proud host of a cheetah rescue and rehabilitation centre, where you can immerse yourself in the thrilling world of these magnificent big cats. Experience the exhilaration of a cheetah run from an elevated zero-impact vantage point, featuring an enlightening educational tour conducted at a safe distance. Alternatively, embark on an adventure from the comfort of a specialized game viewing vehicle for an up-close encounter with these incredible creatures.
Inverdoorn Game Reserve now offers a unique stargazing experience. Each evening (weather conditions permitting), after dinner, clients are invited to join our rangers as they journey through the veld, gazing at the stellar sights of the Karoo skies.
